My basic idea with this piece was to create an icy, crystalline lattice design. I used random colors in the blue range, and used random right angle repetitions to create the angular look.
Thanks! I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea of generative art . . . I do really like how this one turned out, but I'm still not sure how generative it is when every time I run the program I get essentially the same result. It has a process, and certainly uses plenty of random . . . but it is so random that the piece as a whole loses distinction. It's almost like GenArt needs random, but needs random that doesn't do the same thing every single time.
I was impressed by how quickly you jumped right into the spirit of this generative art, while still evoking topics/imagery.
