the TRENCH!
This is what happens when you wait until Sunday night to hack a trench mock-up straight from Star Wars:
If you're wondering where I found the absolutely AMAZING audio, this is the video that I was first introduced to:
The actual audio was from another video, but the ketchupbot is too glorious not to include.
Here's an extra video clip of the trench in poorly converted colors:
I might do more work on the trench for a final project. Maybe it will eventually look something like this:

The music truly made your video. It was a great choice.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it is nice to see how in the colored version, the ship avoids all of the obstacles. It would love to see more (if you continue to work on it).
Thanks! The colored video was actually made first, and it had an "avoiding" function that was a lot better than the one seen in the video shown in class. When I made the non-colored video, I added more lines of code to the "avoiding" function, unintentionally making it worse by introducing left and right movements to avoid obstacles. Little did I realize that this would just make the ship move parallel to the horizontal beams. You can see the ship trying to avoid the barriers by moving left and right in the original video. Whoops!
